Is there a setup fee?
For most businesses, the setup fee is between $150–$300. We'll let you know up front during your quote if anything additional is needed for your specific situation — for example, mid-year switches with complex year-to-date data. No surprises after the fact.
Is there a long-term contract?
No multi-year lock-in. Our clients stay because they want to, not because they have to. If something isn't working, we'd rather fix it than hold you hostage.
Will my price go up?
Your per-employee fee scales naturally with headcount — that's expected. We don't do unannounced rate hikes. If anything fundamental changes about pricing, we tell you in advance.
How does this compare to ADP, Gusto, or Paychex?
For very small teams, Gusto can be cheaper on the sticker price. Once you add tax filings, support tickets, and integrations, the gap closes fast — and we throw in a dedicated Colorado team you can call by name. Against ADP and Paychex, we're typically more competitive and dramatically more responsive.
What if I only need payroll — no add-ons?
Perfect — that's the most common starting point. Base platform plus per-employee is the floor. You can add tools later as your business grows; we'll never push something you don't need.
