Oregon also has a statewide transit tax (0.1%, withheld from employees), employer-paid TriMet (0.8237%) and Lane Transit (0.80%) taxes for work inside those transit districts, and the Workers' Benefit Fund (1.8 cents per hour). All run under the same BIN.

- You'll receive:
- One BIN, typically printed as 8 digits with a dash (1234567-8), covering withholding, unemployment, statewide transit, TriMet and Lane Transit taxes, and the Workers' Benefit Fund.
- Send Unify:
- Your BIN.

- Your UI rate under the same BIN. The 2026 new-employer rate is 2.4%.

- Your UI rate notice.

- You'll receive:
- Contributions of 1% of wages, reported in Frances Online. Employees pay 60%; employers with fewer than 25 employees don't pay the employer 40%.
- Send Unify:
- Your Frances Online access, or confirm the BIN is set up there.
Local taxesPortland-area employers may also need to withhold Metro Supportive Housing Services and Multnomah County Preschool for All income taxes. Ask us if you have employees there.
